Curriculum Interventional Psychiatry Modul T4:
Deep brain stimulation (DBS) and neurosurgery; Further invasive and non-invasive brain stimulation procedures (current): transcranial direct current treatment, transcranial random noise electric stimulation, transcranial alternating current stimulation, (transcutaneous) vagus nerve stimulation, magnetic seizure therapy, focal electrically administered seizure therapy; Technical aspects of these procedures; Effects and side effects of the methods; Specific clinical basics for the individual procedures (e.g. cooperation with neurosurgery for vagus nerve stimulation or deep brain stimulation); Current status of clinical dissemination and use (indications) of these methods, evidence and efficacy; Cost-benefit analysis; Scientific evidence and research update on these methods
